Shark Energy Beverage set out to expand brand awareness in the U.S. market. However, its existing global website was built primarily for distributors rather than consumers, leaving a gap in brand storytelling and consumer engagement. To compete with established players like Red Bull, Rockstar, and Monster, Shark needed a U.S.-focused digital presence supported by an integrated marketing plan.
Strategy & Execution
Competitive & Consumer Analysis: Conducted a review of the top three competitors alongside consumer research to understand what resonates with key audiences—primarily young adults passionate about EDM and extreme sports, and secondarily, new moms seeking energy solutions.
Website Development: Built a U.S.-focused website grounded in insights from the analysis. Defined tone, messaging, and positioning to differentiate the brand while ensuring strong SEO performance. Designed a streamlined information architecture (IA) and engaging UX to guide visitors seamlessly through the site.
